Join us for the May Brown Bag Lunch in Randallstown to learn about CSI Support and Development's unique model for cooperative, affordable senior housing where the residents directly manage the day-to-day operations of the building including leasing, maintenance, finances, and activities. Our event will include an interactive walking tour of the site, and we will hear from some of the residents about their experiences living and working at the co-op.
CSI will provide lunch, so come learn about a unique approach to affordable housing from one of your fellow MAHC members.
Join the MAHC Construction Committee for our discussion group series on energy efficient design and construction practices. Our topic for this session is Build Tight & Minimize Mold Risk. Ken Levenson of 475 HIgh Performance Building Supply will join us from Brooklyn, NY to offer a closer look at the enclosure assembly components and building systems: what factors drive up mold risk? What factors lower mold risk? What common sense steps can we take to be sure multifamily buildings are safe from mold damage? Ken will discuss some of the methodologies, materials, details and systems that can help make high performance low risk.
Lunch will be provided.
Join MAHC for our next quarterly happy hour event. In June, we will meet for cocktails and conversation at R House in Baltimore. Appetizers will be provided. Cash bar.
Join us for a special Brown Bag Lunch in June for our nonprofit members and guests. Heather Iliff, Executive Director of Maryland Nonprofits, will join us to tell our members how MaNo can help strengthen your organization and help you to be more effective. MaNo offers education, resources, and consulting services for nonprofits across Maryland and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.
MAHC will provide drinks and desserts, so bring your lunch and come learn what Maryland Nonprofits does to support nonprofit organizations and how they can help you.
