Beyond LIHTC: Expanding Housing Opportunities with the MDH Capital Bond Program

Interested in learning about a little-known flexible source of grant funding for your project?  The Maryland Department of Health Administration-Sponsored Capital Programs (MDH Bond Bill Program) can be a very important source of capital funds to create affordable housing units for people with disabilities in a multifamily project.  This flexible grant can be used toward financing the acquisition, construction and rehab of multifamily properties.  Join us to hear from state agency officials and a developer who has successfully used this grant program in a LIHTC funded project.

Panelists Include:

  • Chelsea Hayman – Director of Housing Policy and Programs, Maryland Department of Disabilities
  • Ahmed Awad - Program Manager, Office of Facilities Management and Development, Maryland Department of Health
  • Patricia Sastoque - Director of Programs, Developmental Disabilities Administration, Maryland Department of Health
  • Scott Copeland - Principal and co-founder of RST Development
  • Jillian Copeland - Founder, Main Street Connect

Bring your lunch, sit at your computer, and join us virtually for this timely event!
